Where it all began…
Where it all began…
There’s something really special about beginnings—the quiet kind, the ones that don’t come with a big announcement or a perfectly timed launch. The kind that grow slowly, intentionally, and with a whole lot of heart (and a lot of wine).
The Soul Creative Group started exactly like that.
Long before there was a name, a brand, or a website, there was just a shared vision between two friends— hi, that’s us! Megan and Sammy. We met in 2021 when Megan was the General Manager of The Capitol Room in St. Peter, Minnesota. Through another co-worker/friend, Sammy applied and got hired to bartend and help manage events at The Capitol Room. Starting as technically co-workers, it blossomed into a friendship, which then blossomed into what is now a business that puts the heart and soul into everything. Keeping our couples and clients close to our hearts, we want everyone to feel the love and support that they need and should cherish.
In the winter of 2025, Sammy brought up doing a “Wellness Night” of sorts this coming spring. Which then in turn launched the name, the logo, the branding, etc. We hosted our first wellness night with a group of girlfriends with Jewelry, massages, acupuncture, and a Medium. At that point, the world felt like our oyster but where could we build. Both having full-time and other part-time jobs, Soul wasn’t able to fully be what we wanted it to be. Minus doing a few events and weddings here and there, it deserved more.
Flash forward 1 year, we’re officially here—a legit company.
In October of 2025, Megan needed to make a decision. Changes were happening at the venue, and it felt like the right time to leave the company she helped build and finally officially launch SCG (a company of their own). Megan could run away with weddings, and Sammy could focus on small events and gatherings. It was like the second the decision was made to take this to the next level, everything started falling in place. We had a logo, a website, and a handful of events under our belts.
The Soul Creative Group was built on the belief that events should feel like something—not just look beautiful, but carry meaning, connection, and intention. Whether it’s a wedding, a gathering, or a celebration of any kind, we believe the most memorable moments are the ones that feel deeply personal and thoughtfully curated.
This business is more than planning events. It’s about creating space for people to slow down, connect, and truly experience the moments that matter most.
And this is just the beginning.
We’re so glad you’re here.
Small Steps Create Big Shifts
It All Begins Here
Confidence doesn’t always arrive with a bold entrance. Sometimes, it builds quietly, step by step, as we show up for ourselves day after day. It grows when we choose to try, even when we’re unsure of the outcome. Every time you take action despite self-doubt, you reinforce the belief that you’re capable. Confidence isn’t about having all the answers — it’s about trusting that you can figure it out along the way.
The key to making things happen isn’t waiting for the perfect moment; it’s starting with what you have, where you are. Big goals can feel overwhelming when viewed all at once, but momentum builds through small, consistent action. Whether you’re working toward a personal milestone or a professional dream, progress comes from showing up — not perfectly, but persistently. Action creates clarity, and over time, those steps forward add up to something real.
You don’t need to be fearless to reach your goals, you just need to be willing. Willing to try, willing to learn, and willing to believe that you’re capable of more than you know. The road may not always be smooth, but growth rarely is. What matters most is that you keep going, keep learning, and keep believing in the version of yourself you’re becoming.
